Commuter Notice 23rd Jan 2012
Due to gas mains replacement works, The Street Iwade will be closed between School Lane and Sandeling Way for a period of approximately 8 weeks from 30th January 2012.
There will be no access for through traffic using The Street for this period. The Travel Link commuter service will be diverted for the duration of the works and we will not be able to serve currrent stops at Sandeling Road, School Lane or Shearstone. We will advise of return to normal route once it is confirmed that the works are completed.
The 750 service will not exit the A249 at the current Sheppey Way exit but will instead exit at Grovehurst Road stopping at a temporary stop almost opposite the current Kingfisher Close stop but a little futher towards the Sheppey Road junction. The service will then continue via the Sheppey Way and access Sonora Fields via Quinton Road stopping at the usual stop.
The return journey will follow the above route in reverse.
